To prepare for this conference, I decided to reread Chapter IV, ‘The Ethics of Elfland’ in GKC’s ORTHODOXY. Here is a quotable quote: Oscar Wilde said we don’t value sunsets because we don’t pay for them. But Oscar Wilde was wrong. We can pay for them by not being Oscar Wilde.
