Megatsunami Scenario – La Palma Landslide – YouTube
La Palma volcano eruption today. Evacuation, possible tsunami and live updates – Bing video
Newsweek says, without meaningful explanation, that there is no threat; but who trusts the major media these days? It brings me no less concern; just the opposite! And the projection that striking the U.S. eastern seaboard would be about 7 hours after a major fault collapse in La Palma, gives little time for evacuation to any significant higher ground. The other cause for concern, still relatively unmentioned, is an expected continuation of the volcanic activity over the next 3 months; i.e. the major force behind causing collapse.
Advice?

Update 10/3/21: Photos show the Canary Island volcano in the Atlantic, which is becoming ‘much more aggressive,’ say scientists (msn.com)

There’s been an eruption and lava flow in Iceland ongoing since 19 March 2021. After being quiet for 800 years.

Mt. Etna in Sicily is mildly active, too, at this time.
There is absolutely no way that people can control nature. A volcano erupts or an earthquake occurs when forces of nature cause it to erupt or quake. The side of the volcano is going to collapse into the ocean and it will be the size of Manhattan and hit the ocean at over 200 miles an hour. The timing is the unknown part. Nobody knows when it will happen and there are scientists who say it will happen soon. Does that mean we have to live in fear that ‘today’ might be the day. The east coast of the US has about 7 hours to evacuate if we are aware of the side of the volcano going into the ocean. Suppose it happens at 2 A.M.? Suddenly our 7 hour window might have been cut to 2 hours. There is a possible solution and it is in the hands of the US Military. Having been in the military, I am aware of this solution and the effects. The solution is carpet bombing. The advantage of carpet bombing is that instead of a giant chunk of rock going into the ocean, the size of Manhattan, a large bunch of small rock and pebbles, like a sandy beach go into the ocean. Our military has done this before and are completely capable of doing it again. Carpet bombing, also known as saturation bombing, is a large area bombardment done in a progressive manner to inflict damage in every part of a selected area of land. The phrase evokes the image of explosions completely covering an area, in the same way that a carpet covers a floor. Carpet bombing is usually achieved by dropping many unguided bombs. Progressive does not mean an hour or days between the explosions. The design is that the first bomb hits the target, less then a second later, the second bomb hits, but a foot away. Then the third bomb hits with the same time and space occurring. Followed by a continuing barrage. It is all done with many bombs carried by many planes with timed releases of the bombs. Plus we have nature working for us because any wind at the time will help to spread out the barrage.
I agree that it is a frightening situation, to be constantly on edge wondering if the wave is on its way. But then it occurs to me that it is a very apt ‘end times’ scenario, even at the individual level. Many people die without 7 hours notice time for repentance. We’re supposed to ‘stay ready,’ right?

Good going, Patriot, for seeing the potential in bombing in your comment on Sept. 27th.
Just saw the quote by a politician on Oct. 27th from a neighboring Canary Island also picking up the bombing idea: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/politician-proposes-bombing-la-palma-volcano-as-eruptions-enter-38th-day/ar-AAQ1oTQ?ocid=uxbndlbing
