It is terrible how the Catholic faith and innocent clergy, parishioners, are suffering ridicule and denouncement, and statues of our Lord and the saints have been desecrated. Some people understandably have anger at the Catholic church for how they were treated by someone or someones representing the Catholic church and the Catholic faith sometime in their life. It is not fair to label a whole Church and faith bad and evil due to a minority of persons who did not mirror the tenets of the Catholic faith and the love of Christ, despite having a central role in the Church.
Our Catholic faith and our Catholic church is being attacked from the inside. What’s disturbing is little to nothing is being done about it. It’s time the laity rise up and make our voices heard in defense of our beloved Catholic faith and out of love for our Lord.
