Rosary Border Crusade December 12th, and …

December 2nd, 2017, Promulgated by Hopefull

Inspired by the million Poles who turned out to pray the Rosary in defense of their borders last October, a grass-roots effort has risen to do something similar in the US on December 12th, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Information can be found here.

The following two pictures are from the event in Poland. The story of that event can be found here.

The Rosary at the Border article about the Catholic Poles praying the rosary at the borders, in airport chapels, in fishing boats at sea, in kayaks and sailboats that formed chains on rivers, and among Polish soldiers stationed in Afghanistan which prayed at the Bagram Airfield, was truly inspiring and uplifting!

I think we should be advocate for prayer in our churches in the Diocese of Rochester (and beyond) to join the the Day of the Rosary for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017. Even if people stay at home, they could be encouraged to pray the rosary. If people have to work or go to school, I think sometime in their day, they could pray the rosary.

“The intention of the prayers will be β€œto ask Our Lady to save the USA from Islamic jihad, from the denial of the Christian faith, and for an end of abortion.”-LIFESITE NEWS

There are Americans who will pray the rosary facing north, toward our neighbors in Canada. There will be Canadians joining this Day of the Rosary that will face south toward their neighbors in the U.S. when they pray the rosary.

Their are also plans and initiatives being done in Ireland and Italy.
