And from Cardinal Burke:

Is Pope Francis disappointed with the Synod Fathers? America Magazine makes one think so; but why would the Cardinals and Bishops give the Holy Father an approving applause if they were just severely reprimanded?

EWTN reports it differently….

And Michael Voris questions the leadership strengths of Pope Francis’ Papacy…..

In the Synod Report Breaking News accessed above, Michael Voris exhorts faithful Catholics to fight, to be the Church Militant!
For me a way to do that is to be encouraged by faithful, orthodox, solid Catholic teaching and preaching. Dr. Ralph Martin and Peter Herbeck of Renewal Ministries inspire us to believe Jesus, the Word of God, the Sacred Tradition of the Church. So given all we have heard or read coming from Rome, I highly recommend a healthy dose of Renewal Ministries by clicking on Today’s Message left hand side of the homepage.

My two cents (for the moment):
1. I’m not “accompanying” anybody in their sin. Nor do I want anybody to “accompany” me.
2. Where is St. Nicholas when we need him…. a good punch in the nose, as Arius learned, covers a multitude of warbling, wobbling text.
There are some good articles at http://www.thecatholicthing.org -especially yesterday: The Text and the Context. (10/26)
I do not resonate with demonizing Cardnal Wuerl. However, Wuerl’s statements about mercy do not fully reveal the truth of Savior Jesus and His Holy Catholic Church. It seems that Cardinal Wuerl’s is misleading us.

The Cardinal needs to hear Bishop Barron explain Pope Francis’ and the Catholic Church’s understanding of biblical MERCY.
This time Bishop Barron gets it very right. Hopefully Cardinal Wuerl’s listeners do not suffer by believing in what Wuerl’s mercy infers; something much less which doesn’t help anybody in need of Christ’s gracious sin forgiving mercy:

Wuerl attributes his bad understanding of mercy to Pope Francis.
Look, either Barron explains correctly Francis’ mercy or Wuerl’s ambiguous mercy is the work of the Holy Spirit.
No! Wuerl’s mercy infers Christ, His Church and His Bishops welcome sinners to live in sin without repentance, without conversion, without amendment of life.
I am reminded of Saint Paul’s condemnation of another gospel.
Galatians 1:7-9
To Many Pope Francis is an enigma. What ever does he mean by what he says? Thankfully, Bishop Robert Barron rightly explains “mercy” , “who am I to judge”, “inclusivity….everyone is welcome” and whether or not Francis is a departure from Benedict, John Paul II or the traditional Catholic Church.
So, hang on and listen to the truth about what Pope Francis means by what he says.
