Richard – open your freakin mind. Do you know Deacon Mottola? I only know of him – and from that, I think you should go – I’m confident that you will be pleasantly surprised.
There are many good and faithful people in our diocese – don’t assume that because it’s sponsored by DoR that it’s automatically heterodox.
Looks like a good lineup! The only one who might be (but not necessarily)”progressive” in his presentation is Fr. Kennedy. And I still will expect that Fr. Kennedy will be excellent, too. I wish I could hear Matt Jones… but I don’t fall into the age group for whom this series is intended.
Anyway, folks, don’t be paranoid, just because the diocese is sponsoring this program.
When it comes to morals, the title of the second day should be “Do whatever you want to do”
From my experience with these TOTs (which is a whopping 2 times). The seminarians are excellent and the DOR experts are abhorrent.

Deacon Mottola is solid. Liberals and conservatives will find his talk interesting.
Richard – Dea. Mottola will not disappoint. Trust me.
