I received word that there will be a Mass held at St. Thomas the Apostle on Wednesday, November 2, at 6:30 PM. Please do your best to attend!
On a related note, the organizers of the Mass are currently looking for individuals who would like to assist with the music for the evening. Kindly send me an email (gen@cleansingfire.org) and I’ll pass along your interest to the good folks at St. Thomas.

Jim M. here: Well, it’s about time that we are allowed to have another public Mass at St. Thomas! I believe the last time was on January 22rd….almost a year ago.
That’s wonderful that they are going to have a mass there on All Souls’ Day. I will do my best to attend.
Please let us know the why of it, if you find out. I wonder how these things are decided by Fr. Tanck… ?? And do you know who the celebrant will be?
In any case, this is wonderful news for all St. Thomas the Apostle parishioners and fans!! So many of us were there last Monday for the Holy Mass funeral rite of a beloved parishioner, indeed a bittersweet morning.

I couldn’t attend the funeral but let all of us pray for the soul of Maureen Madonia. She was a fervent, faithful catholic who was filled with the Holy Spirit. May she rest in peace.
I never knew Maureen well, but Joe is a great man. My prayers for the repose of her soul and for Joe and their family abound.
Joe and Maureen’s marriage was a wonderful testament to the Sacrament of Marriage.
I heard several people say after Maureen’s funeral “that is the funeral Mass I want to have.” Pray for the repose of her soul and offer Joe your support in these next few months if you can.
Who celebrated the mass?
Jim M. here: To Richard Thomas…Father Ron Antinarelli from Our Lady of Victory/ St. Joseph’s celebrated Maureen’s funeral Mass.
There will also be a Mass on All Saints (Nov 1 at 10 AM) in the STA adoration chapel. This should fulfill your holy day obligation.
