Cleansing Fire

Defending Truth and Tradition in the Roman Catholic Church

Comments

May 19th, 2011, Promulgated by Dr. K

A TON of comments have been posted this afternoon. I would like to offer a few suggestions that I hope our readers will follow. If these suggestions are ignored, some comments may have to be pruned in order to keep things under control.

1. Make your point in one comment, not a series of two or more consecutive comments. If somebody responds, then make another if you feel it is needed. Try not to flood the comment boxes. The lively discussions are good, but it has gotten out of control today.

2. Please keep the conversation civil. Different opinions will be expressed here, so try to be respectful even if the other person is clearly wrong. Provide documentation whenever possible to back up your points.

3. Even though things are bad right now in Rochester, try to look at the future in a positive way. Change will come, and it will likely arrive by the end of next year. Have faith, hope, and love!

  1. Susan of Corning says:

Thanks for letting me know. I’m going to put off the cleaning 😉

  2. Was it a mistake to max out my credit cards?

  3. Scott W. says:

Ok, I will keep the conversation civil, even if you are a doodyhead.

    Just kidding.

  4. Doesn’t scripture state that no one on earth will know what day and hour the Lord will return? It is referenced like a thief coming into a house at night. The message given you do not know the hour and day of his coming, but be prepared. Likewise, we do not know the day and hour we will die, but we are to be prepared. Is there something that we have put off doing which we are presented with as an opportunity-like making peace with someone-asking someone’s forgiveness or forgiving someone -even if it is an overwhelming offense to forgive, just willing the way of forgiveness. We should also make peace with our self and make peace with God.Don’t put off which you can do today.
