The following email from the Cardinal Newman Society arrived this morning, and I especially noted the words that CNS can’t end the scandal but it can expose the scandal. I see a parallel to the work of Cleansing Fire, which is exposing much to the bright light of day, for each person to discern and act.
I just thought CNS words are worth posting too. Even though CNS asks for funds, I am not posting for that reason, nor am I leaving the words out for that reason. Mostly I thought the committment to TRUTH is worth noting. TRUTH doesn’t hide under a bushel; it leads to action. That is what I see Cleansing Fire doing. Those who try to attack this site should ask themselves how silence serves TRUTH. Or how silence or ignorance of TRUTH fulfills obligations of priest, prophet, king.

Media reports are sweeping the nation about our exposé on more than 150 ties of Catholic colleges to Planned Parenthood.
