That is exactly what this website has been saying all along! I’m hoping this makes the news, but I’m not holding my breath.

Our Bishop is chasing the wind.

I have stoppped attending mass just across the street from my house due to nonsense at the end of the mass. A person will get up and make “announcements”. These include birthdays (singing “Happy Birthday”), Anniversaries(applause), making pleas to attend the local high school play, and any other thing that comes to mind. All before we are dismissed. They then have coffee and donuts – when the weather doesn’t cooperate, the eat and drink in the Church! I fought with Sr Joan for four years over that parish, started Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament there (with Sr Joan’s permission – must have been the Holy Spirit),sat through countless homilies by her, and thought that things would get better when she left I was wrong. Apparently, when she left, she identified me as “fiesty”. Now, I drive 5 miles to go to mass instead of just walking across the street…What a shame.

Cardinal Burke has done it again!

  5. Snow says:

Mr. B. Take the drive and let them play house. They and you have a little while. The world loves their own.
