One Response to “First Century Jewish Religious Education”

  1. Gen says:

Maybe it’s mentioned in the audio clip (I haven’t listened yet), but the Blessed Virgin was very highly educated in religious matters. Just look at her response at the Annunciation: “My soul magnifies the Lord. My spirit rejoices in God my savior.” She wasn’t being creative – she was quoting Scripture! Just look at 1 Samuel 2:1-10.

Bishop Clark’s claim that women weren’t given religious instruction is just fantasy.
