Am I the only one who thinks of the DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince album “He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper”, when I hear the starting lineup announced at mass, “He’s the Sacramental Minister, I’m the Pastoral Administrator”?

Which leads me to my call for another graphic design contest. I was so impressed with the submissions we received during the vocatus-es-contest, that I’d like to start another contest. To all you graphic designers out there, I’d like to see what you can do with this. I’m envisioning a hip, modern nun (over 60 of course) in place of Will Smith and a sheepish priest who knows his role as DJ Jazzy Jeff. But I don’t want to restrict your creativity, so don’t think you have to be confined. Email me (or another staffer) your submissions. I just took a mountain load of recyclables back to Wegmans, so I can afford to purchase some prayer cards for the winner, which I’m sure Gen would be happy to autograph. Perhaps we could even get a signature from the mysterious Dr. K? And perhaps we can make T-Shirts or something of the winning submission.
