So to all those who like to wait, you have 16 months to learn the new wording for the Mass. The new translation goes into effect November 27, 2011. Use of the present edition of the Roman Missal will no longer be permitted after that date.
Praise be to God!

This link (16 months ) shows a curious picture of a priest with a benign, closed mouth smile and a deacon extending his hands. What part of the Mass would this be? When the deacon says, “Let us offer… the sign of peace,” his hands should be joined.
I asked a pastor about the “when’s” and he said “quite soon” most likeley a few weeks after labor day to get everyone back after vacations and the holiday. I wonder how much the publishers will overcharge for the books. I know that any “official” texts cost the parish a few parishioners left arms. Religious Ed. books for the kiddies, etc. Rote memory will take care of the rank and file.
OK ! Where do you find this for sale ?
