Archbishop Chaput in a Licit Dialogue Homily

August 13th, 2010, Promulgated by b a

From Archbishop Chaput’s facebook page:

Last Sunday, our youth director Chris Stefanick joined me for the last ten minutes of my homily during the annual College Send-Off Mass. For those of you who missed it, be sure to read his excellent column in this week’s DCR. The audio recording from our dialogue last Sunday is also available at the bottom of his column. I’m praying for all those college-bound, as they “enter the JUNGLE!”

not sure about the applause – I didn’t have time to filter that out of the audio.

One Response to “Archbishop Chaput in a Licit Dialogue Homily”

  1. Bernie says:

Yes, this is the real thing! The Archbishop is obviously in control of the homily. He does not relinquish his authority to the other person. AND, the occasion for the dialogue is special and not routine: the sending off to college of students. This is an excellent example for our diocese to use in explaining to priests when dialogue homilies are permitted and how they are to be conducted/delivered.
