Fr. Timothy Horan: “But I am equally sure there will be for me, undiscovered treasures at each of the 3 sites for this new parish.”
Once again, an IPPG priest has made a comment stating that there will be three churches in the new Irondequoit parish. Perhaps Fr. Horan needs to be reminded of Bishop Clark’s response to the St. Thomas the Apostle appeal where he informs the people that there is no official decree to close any churches:
“My decree of May 26, 2010 addresses only the consolidation of the parishes. Should the Diocese of Rochester decide, in the future, to remove the church building as a place of worship, you will again have the opportunity to voice objections and propose recourse.”
Does the Diocese of Rochester plan on breaking the news to the priests of this parish anytime soon, or are we going to continue to play these games?
