Our sovereign pontiff acted with great dignity during the close for the Year for Priests. He, as I am sure you’ve heard, apologized for the abuses, saying some very beautiful things in the process. He is such a holy man, a simple, loving, erudite man whose love for Christ is absolutely undeniable. I can only hope that the media will be satisfied in their lust for sacerdotal blood. Below are some of the quotes from our Holy Father Pope Benedict.
So it happened that, in this very year of joy for the sacrament of the priesthood, the sins of priests came to light — particularly the abuse of the little ones, in which the priesthood, whose task is to manifest God’s concern for our good, turns into its very opposite.
In admitting men to priestly ministry and in their formation, we will do everything we can to weigh the authenticity of their vocation and make every effort to accompany priests along their journey, so that the Lord will protect them and watch over them in troubled situations and amid life’s dangers.
Today, we can see that it has nothing to do with love when conduct unworthy of the priestly life is tolerated.
It seems that whatever the pope does, the hippies and liberals shriek that it’s not enough. “Forgiveness comes after a crisis, not during it.” I’d like to see some of these . . . children of God . . . guard one billion souls as well as Pope Benedict does.

Happy new blog…The Pope can not win with the media, fortunately he’s not trying. Long live our Holy Father
Pope Benedict XVI is (will be) a saint for sure.
