Saint’s Place, according to their mission statement, “is a volunteer organization, based on Christian values, that provides household goods, clothing, and education to legal refugees of all races and creeds who settle in the Rochester, NY area to escape violence, discrimination and poverty.” The sales are usually quite large, and feature such items as furniture, tableware, clothing, books, jewelry, paintings, toys, glassware, and so forth. There will be hot dogs and drinks around lunch time each day. Donations to Saint’s Place will also be accepted.
The sale runs from Wednesday, April 21st through Saturday, April 24th.
Hours each day:
Wednesday- 2 PM-8 PM
Thursday- 9 AM-4 PM
Friday- 9 AM-12 PM and then 1 PM-4 PM (1/2 off everything from 1-4)
Saturday- 9 AM-11 AM ($5 per bag)
The sale will take place in the building behind St. Louis church. So, if you’re facing the front of the church from South Main, the building to enter would be in the back/right of the church. It’s not in the school. Happy shopping!
