Being a Catholic priest is far from an easy task. Many priests out there endure much suffering, including but not limited to frequent criticism from orthodox and heterodox, loneliness, and long hours of hard work. There are many good priests out there that don’t often get the recognition they deserve. Thankfully, a new Web site is about to go online in a few months which will provide a method for the laity to show their gratitude to their favorite priests.
The site is called “Encourage Priests,” and it’s located at: http://www.encouragepriests.org/ Encourage priests will go live on June 20th of this year (Father’s Day). The site will offer the opportunity to create printable cards and e-cards for your favorite priest, allow users to post videos thanking their priests, and several other features designed to show gratitude for the men of the cloth who sacrifice their lives for us. This project is being carried out by Catholics Come Home, so it promises to be solid.
Be sure to thank those solid priests out there for the good they do in defending the Church, offering the Mass and the Sacraments, and leading lives of holiness.

This is a great concept! Thanks for sharing it. Our priests need our support and care these days.
