A reader sends along this political cartoon which seems to represent quite well how the people of St. Thomas the Apostle may feel right now:

It might appear to many St. Thomas parishioners that they are standing alone against an unstoppable force like the hero in Tienanmen Square. The truth, however, is that there are many out there who support the cause to save St. Thomas the Apostle church. You people are not alone. Keep up the good work, keep praying, and do not be discouraged.
