Kind of

The last sentence from a Catholic Courier article on St. Joseph’s 150th anniversary happened to catch my eye this morning. It is from Fr. James Schwartz:

“St. Joseph’s is really the center of spiritual life of the entire community of Penfield”

Well, kind of. Holy Spirit church, though they have a Webster mailing address, are also located within the town of Penfield. I guess the orthodox and tradition-loving Catholics of Rochester are just invisible to most people :-/

    Holy Spirit is considered a Webster parish, grouped with Holy Trinity, St. Paul's and St. Rita's

    I guess sort of how St. Anne is group with Brighton parishes, not "City South" parishes like St. Boniface and Blessed Sacrament.
