  1. VCS says:

It is not surprising that Fr. Tanck is hosting Bishop Clark at Christ the King promoting lay ministry. Fr. Tanck is leading the charge to dismantle the traditional parish structure in Irondequoit and form a new "mega church." This destruction of traditional parish structure is ultimately rooted in the Bishop's desire to foster a lay run church. This can be accomplished more easily by first dismantling the individual parishes and their canonical rights.

i see what they're doing for coffee, but where's the Catholicism?

ps word verification is bologra, and i first read it as bologna. apt indeed!

The bishop can show up to hawk his new book, but he's nowhere to be seen when there are meetings to discuss the closing of parishes.

I'd like some traditional Catholics to quiz him there on his faulty theology.

  5. What about all those disaffected parishioners from St. Thomas and St. Salome's going to the see the Bishop at CTK for his book signing. Give the Bishop a piece of your mind, in a nice way, of course.

And make sure there is someone there to record his statement.

    And now the latest.

"Our Sunday Visitor" has a one page spread of an interview with the Rochestarian "Wrecking Ball" concerning the book. All the bologna is now being spread nationally.

I'm surprised. I thought this was a good paper but now, I'll have to be more careful as to what I think.

    Dissappointed.
