As many already know, the “Reverend” Denise Donato retired from Spiritus Christ last year. She was one of the big three who ran Spiritus throughout its decade-long existence (the other two being Ramerman and Callan). Her retirement did not last very long, for just as soon as she left the schismatic Spiritus Christi church, she decided to start her own schismatic church, the “Mary Magdalene church.” This sect held their services in Fairport throughout the duration of 2009.
It’s been reported recently that Donato and her flock have found a new location.

If the objective was to purchase a building that looks as far from a Catholic church as possible; mission accomplished. She’ll probably get more people wandering in thinking its a bakery than she’ll bring in regular parishioners.
For her sake I hope she opted for the lease.
I don't know why anybody is even discussing these sad people as though they were legitimate in any way.
We're celebrating diversity. Next month is going to be "Incredible Inclusivity Month."
The poetic justice that comes to mind here is that Mary Magdalene Church has to open a bakery to pay for the lease, because enough Catholics, shocked and offended by the very prescence of this "church," refuse to attend.
But it is as likely as Sr. Sobala being an orthodox Catholic.
