The Catholic Courier is reporting that there will be a pro-life prayer vigil at Sacred Heart Cathedral on the anniversary of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court abortion decision, Roe v. Wade. The vigil will begin at 7 PM on Friday, January 22nd, and will end around 8 PM. I expect it will be a tasteful and quiet time of prayer and contemplation for all who choose to attend.

Is your Bishop going to march in Washington D.C.? Is the DOR sending buses to the march?
kelly-note the post I put up today…there's a few parishes sending buses, details listed in the post
And once again, as has been for the last 30 years, the leader of the diocese of Rochester will not give the people, going to Washington, a prayful buon voyage and will not pray with them nor recognize their efforts.
Matt: Thanks and it is good to see that the DOR will be represented in the Nation's capitol.
Anon 10:18: You nailed my point. The DOB will be sending five buses, all together in one group, accompanied by the Bishop – as usual year after year. He will celebrate Mass for the attendees at the hotel they all are staying at to kick off the first morning. A united effort – shepherd and the sheep.
