I attended the 12:10 Mass at OLV and Father A. had the kiss of peace. It turned out to be a “wave of peace”. I didn’t see any handshakes but then again I don’t have eyes in the back of head either.

A priest actually encouraged us to do a "fist bump" of peace last week at the church we attended.
Good grief. You've already touched the handles on the church doors that every single person has, and you put your hands on the back of the pews where germy little kids slurp and wipe their snot, but instead of eliminating a COMPLETELY OPTIONAL bit of Nervous Order fluff, your priest wants you to high five each other? Wonderful. Are they still slurping out of the Cup?
Thank GOD ALMIGHTY!!! my family can take refuge in the beautiful, pleasing and completely UNcontaminated traditional Catholic Mass! The worst thing we have to deal with is having to come out of the rapture of prayer before we approach the Altar rail and the rapture of intimacy afterward before the final Blessing.
There was no people's kiss of peace at the 4:30, thank God.
Why don't we just give everyone the peace sign like we did in the 60's ? You should have heard the beautiful soloist at Our Lady of Victory at 4:30pm mass.
