Defending Truth and Tradition in the Roman Catholic Church

November is “Everything English” Month

November 1st, 2009, Promulgated by Gen

In honor of the recent invitation of Pope Benedict to disaffected Anglicans, I have decided that the entire month of November will be dedicated to the English martyrs under the Tudor dynasty, the music of the time, the art, the architecture, the Liturgy and other prayers etc. We start the month off with a new playlist of music to the right, highlighting three motets which stand out from the rest due to their most relevant titles: Turn Our Captivity, Veni Creator Spiritus (Come, Creator Spirit), and Laudibus in Sanctis, a motet whose theme is the praise of God from and through “His holy ones.”

Enjoy!
