This video says it all. The announcer should really tuck in his shirt, don’t you think?

This is one of the most accurate videos I have ever heard. It needs to be told. Thisdirty secret has been around for dozens of years.

The NCCB should be dissolved. It is like a seplecure. Lovely on the outside and roten on the inside.

All these bishops give lip service to Catholic teachings while supporting all these terrible programs. And let's not forget that within their own dioceses, the alleged principles they taut on the national level are never mentioned.

The USCCB CCHD home page has a list of documents available to respond to what they call frivolous allegations that the CCHD funds organizations opposed to the Church's teachings. I read both the CCHD response to the allegations as well as the letter published by Bishop Morin on 11/18. Note the following from the Bishops letter.

As you recall, CCHD was the first national organization to cut off all funding to ACORN when the national problems of fiscal accountability, organizational direction, and political partisanship became apparent, long before the federal government and other groups did the same. This will be the third consecutive CCHD collection where no ACORN group at any level will be considered for CCHD funding for any purpose.

Isn't this exactly the problem? The funds are disbursed to groups and then after they have already received money, then it is cutoff? Had Fox news never exposed ACORN, the CCHD would still be giving money to this and other radical groups. And we are supposed to be comforted to know that the CCHD has controls in place to ensure that the organzations are not going to use it for any purpose that is in contradiction to the faith? I have not given a penny to the CCHD in the last 5 years and I do not plan on it for the next 5 years.

I won't donate to my parish unless they are faithful to majesterial teachings and preach about the BIG 5: abortion, homosexuality, birth control, NFP, premarital sex and pornography.

I am not going to enable anyone to throw marchmellows to the laity
