Poll #11 – Confessions

September 13th, 2009, Promulgated by Dr. K

The latest Cleansing Fire poll deals with the Sacrament of Confession (or Penance, or Reconciliation, or “Christian Sharing”, etc.). It is through this great Sacrament that we admit to the Lord our many weaknesses and seek his loving forgiveness. I hope that all of us make use of this spiritual healing whenever we feel the burden of sin upon our consciences. Anyways, the question is as follows: how do you prefer to make your Confession? Cast your vote below, and like Confession behind the screen, your votes are completely anonymous.

How do you prefer to make your Confession?

Results form poll #10 – How do you respond to criticism of your Catholic faith? The voters were loud and clear; to peacefully counter attacks is the best way to go. This received 63% of the 38 votes cast. Thank you for participating.

  1. I prefer the box, but face-to-face is not a problem either.

um, I can't read the options. You may want to change the text to black, given the light background.

I'm not sure how to change that, actually. Sometimes the HTML which puts the quiz up is a little bungled by the computer. What I did was highlight the quiz. Then you can read it much better.

Mea culpa, I didn't notice that I hadn't modified the background color from the default gray to black. Setting up these polls usually involves a series of painfully annoying steps that must be done each and every time (including fixing the width, making the choices not too spaced out, the background color, etc.). I also noticed that the poll site changed the way the color is represented from "(R,G,B)" to the hexadecimal representation, so it missed my eye this time. Anyways, it should be Ok now.
