Are the singers on today's entry from the Schola Cantorum at Christ Church on East Avenue. When Eastman School is in session the Schola sings Compline service Sunday evenings at 9 p.m. Sometimes there is a short organ concert right before Compline, 8:30 or so. The Church is a glow in candelight and quiet and deeply still. Christ Church is Episcopalian and they sing way better music than most Catholic Churches. In fact, the Episcopalians sing the old Catholic Church music.
All that said, the Episcopal Church is still the church of the "real absence".
I went their once to research a report in undergrad. That particular church appears on the surface much more Catholic than a number of DoR Catholic parishes.
I believe Oxford Camerata was founded by Jeremy Summerly. They are top-notch. The Brits know how to "do ceremony and music". Try going to one of those Compline services at Christ Church. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of music but saddened that this Catholic music is now used more in the Episcopalian Church.
BTW, I got a lot of comments when I wore my "Cleansing Fire" t-shirt. I told them where to go….to get a shirt, I mean.

The group is the Oxford Camerata from England. They are a most stellar choir, in my opinion.

Cleansing Fire apparel? I love it!
