Defending Truth and Tradition in the Roman Catholic Church

Oh No! We’ve Been Blocked!

July 4th, 2009, Promulgated by Gen

Sorry for the rapidity of posts. Be sure to read the articles below this!

Ray Grosswirth has blocked any interaction with me on YouTube. The new “Beta” version allows a user to block all communication, while before it was just limited to messages and comments. I discovered this when I attempted to subscribe to Mr. Grosswirth’s video channel, in order that I may “know that which one fights.” Blocked users can’t even subscribe to the blocker’s channel. Something tells me that I’ve been blocked for a very long while, but still, the notification I reived when I clicked “subscribe” was brand new.

Funny, I haven’t had to block a single comment or user on YouTube . . . Perhaps the Holy Spirit has spoken? I don’t presume to know.

I thought those who work for an “inclusive Church” want “open and honest dialogue.” You can’t have dialogue when you don’t let people speak.

Amen. Liberals are the biggest hypocrites around. I tried to make a post on the NCR (Reporter, not Register) a few times, and not one of them made it through. Instead, almost every comment they accepted was progressive and/or heretical. The liberals do not want a dialogue, they want a monologue. Look at the DOR for example. Do you see Bishop Clark reaching out to orthodox Catholics? No, because he wants what he wants, and cares little of the orthodox. Liberals are selfish and have damaged our Church. They won't be happy until they have completely killed it. Satan has entered the Church, and it is working through these progressives. Not that they are bad people, but they have become the devil's pawns in a chess game against God.

  2. Anon 10:09…A big 2 thumbs up. You are so totally on the mark. The state of the church now reminds me of what I read in the book "AA-1025".

Obviously, we have Christ's word that nothing will kill His Church. Even though "the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church", it doesn't mean that they won't come pretty darn close to prevailing.

You're all right on the money.

These progressive Catholics keep trying to change the Church into one Protestant denomination or another. So why not just get up and go to what you want the Church to become? Mr. Grosswirth finally figured that out, now it is time for Nancy and Joan. No, I don't pleasure in seeing people leave, but it makes sense if they hate the Church so much that they want to change it to something else. I pray that these people will see the light sooner or later.

What if Jim Callan tells Grosswirth he doesn't want him on staff, will Grosswirth enter into a second schism?

  5. Anon 9:01 – Grosswirth would probably go with Denise Donato and then all is honeymoonish for awhile and then they have a disagreement and, voila, another split. Typical of liberals: As my brother, an ex-Spiritus Christi parishoner, said of the SC mentality, "If you believe my lie, I'll believe your lie. They love diversity until it goes against what they command. Then they "kick you to the curb. And if there is a potential schismatic in the group, they ask him if he would like to join their "new church".

Long live the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church!!! May I ask prayers for my brother's return to the real Catholic Church?

    Re Spiritus: "They love diversity"

I'm skeptical of any church that feels the need to count how many African Americans or Hispanics come to pray on any given Sunday. "Inclusivity" should include looking past race to see the true human being, not focusing on it all the more or boasting that they are more diverse than the next parish. Do they think God cares whether you are black, white, Asian, etc? Probably not. So why should we?

"until it goes against what they command. Then they "kick you to the curb."

Another good point about Spiritus. That community was governed by majority rule. Many people left the parish over the years because this majority hijacked everything and became an unstoppable force, eventually venturing into heresies. All began to talk and think alike. If you disagreed (from what I hear), you were treated as an outcast, as not being inclusive enough. Yea, that's true "inclusivity"…

God bless those people who figured out the game before it was too late.

St. anne bullentin this week indicates the collection for Our Lady of Lourdes but omits St. Anne. The 50/50/ is down more than 50%.Are they hiding something?
