So is the title in the Diocese of Rockville Centre for a nun who ordered a priest to stop giving communion in the hand.

We should pray for this priest along with the other priests that show reverence to the Most Blessed Sacrament. I sensed receiving Holy Communion in the hand would lead to a lessening of belief in the Real Presence and, ultimately, to abuses.
Liberals don't think things through quite enough.
As a priest, the diocese can discipline you if you don't follow the "party line". Heck, we've seen that in Rochester.
Sometimes you have way more power to protest and speak you mind as a layman. If a priest tried this, he would be banished.
We should thank God that we are laymen and laywomen and use our power to bring our diocese into line with official Catholic teaching.

Of course it was a nun who was sent to bring the pries "back in line." It always is a nun.
A true priest of the Lord Jesus Christ. If only the higher-ups in his diocese would have half the respect this holy man has for the Blessed Sacrament.

Does this bishop not respect the true presence of Jesus Christ in Communion? How dare he tell this priest that Communion in the mouth is forbidden. Just look at the abuses occurring in his parish, that priest has a right and a duty to protect the blessed sacrament.
