Excellent job on the new video.

    Keep up the good work.

No more secrets in the Diocese of Rochester.

  2. Gen says:

I'll still be doing the usual format video and posting it on YouTube soon. This is just to tide you over until then.

    Enjoy. 😉

Wow. Is this a fair parody? Probably. That diocese must be a cesspool.

The good news is that the Bishop who acts like a dictator will go away soon and his name will quickly fade away.

Imagine the poor souls that are forced to live in the inner city.

There are over 3000 vacant and burned out houses and buildings by the square mile. A drug and alcohol epidemic with many murders. Bishop Clark turned his back on the inner city and closed most of the Catholic parishes. His negative actions eliminated many ministries that served the poorest of the poor.

I?m sure to get jumped on here, but here goes. First of all, no, I am not a liberal Catholic. I'm not happy about the state of the Rochester Diocese either.

No matter what anyone thinks, a priest has been called by God, and a Sister is God?s chosen bride. I may not like these people just as I may not like my sister-in-law, but whose decision was it to choose them? Not mine, I?m afraid.

How can you be sure, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that this doesn?t offend God? None of us really knows what He?s thinking. You can justify this all you want, but if there is even a one percent chance that this doesn?t please Him, I?d send it to the ?delete bin?.

"a priest has been called by God"

Just because a priest has been called be God doesn't mean he'll turn his back on him later in life (which Bishop Clark has done since becoming Bishop of Rochester).

"How can you be sure, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that this doesn?t offend God"

Turning our backs on the poorest of the poor doesn't offend God? What's the point of 70% of the Gospels then?

God understands our frustration. there is little we can do to help this situation in Rochester. These forums help us vent our frustation and at times brain storm, I want to know what is going on is this city. I want to have choices to make. I do not want to insulate my self by attending one parish and not know when abuses are made. I have learned alot from the various Catholic blogs regarding the abuses in Rochester. These sort of cartoons make us chuckel. I think we are sticking up for our Lord by quitely demonstrating among our selves for what we know is jsut.

    — Talk about calumny. You'd better get to confession.

    Ok, I didn?t say that (Anon. 1:44)

I?m Anon. 10:18 and henceforth I?ll call myself ?Mrs. S? to distinguish one Anonymous from another.

  10. Gen says:

There is a clear and undeniable difference between a bishop who supports, openly, ordaining women and a blogger who acts out of orthodoxy and good, clean fun. I think that, while we do not know the mind or will of God, we most certainly know His Person, present as he is in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Whatever profanes that is deserving of much worse than an "It's a Wonderful Life" parody or an Andrews Sisters song. Take a look at the words of the Dies Irae. You will see what I mean, in a more liturgy-minded way.

"Talk about calumny. You'd better get to confession."

It's the damn truth. The one who should go to confession is Bishop Clark. With all the souls he has driven from the Catholic Church, he may have one foot in Hell as we speak.

  12. Mrs S says:

Are you familiar Our Lord's revelations to Mutter Vogel on the Criticism of Priests?

    http://www.angelfire.com/ca3/rafaelmarie/ThePieta/zkpriest.html

Yes, I know that these revelations have not been proven, and many can argue that point.

If these revelations are true, and if this is truly something Our Blessed Lord is asking of all of us, I would be afraid that this parody is offending God.

  13. Anonymous says:

    "If these revelations are true"

Let me know when you figure out for sure, and I'll head to the confessional right behind Bishop Clark. I do expect a long wait though before he is finished.

  14. Ubaldo says:

    Mrs. S,

I know with 100% certainty that Bishop Clark is a terrible bishop.

  15. Anonymous says:

Time Warner cable channel 9 in Rochester, is broadcasting a daily segment of an interview with Bishop Clark for his 30 anniversary.

They reported that Bishop Clark closed 30 parishes. He also closed 50 schools.

How would you like to stand next to Bishop Clark on his judgement day, as our Lord shows him pictures of each of the lost souls, that he pushed away from the Church, after destroying 80 parish and school communities?

You may be shown over two hundred thousand (200,000) pictures.

What happens if a sword pierced our Lord's heart with each picture of a lost soul?

  16. Ubaldo says:

    Well said, Anon.

  17. Gen says:

The video, if you will note, does not criticize any priest. The Pope is a guardian angel (good). Fr. Hart is a wise banker who makes an honest mistake (good, or, at least, not bad). Bishop Clark is the star of the movie who learns the value of life (good).

Gee . . . if only one of you replaced a vintage star with me, I would be so grateful! Maybe Spencer Tracy in Judgment at Nuremburg?

  18. FYI:

Here is a link to the Dies Irae that Gen commented about above. Slowly read through it and think and pray about where your soul will be on Judgment Day.
